1. Why do I have to pay a fee? I can apply with the IRS office at no cost.

E-forms is a service with the objective making the process of filling out and filing government forms simpler and more convenient.

Our customers pay one time only fee of just $68.00. This will eliminate the process of reading through endless, hard to find complicated instructions. We provide step by step instructions at each complicated question or for the many choices you have to make while filling out a W-7.

This fee covers our revision process and mailing costs.

Think of it as filing your actual Tax Return. While you may download IRS forms and fill them out yourself, most americans rather have the help of an accountant or prefer to use a software app in order to make sure all information is submitted correctly, thus avoiding costly mistakes.

 

2 Application Information

Where is my ITIN?

If you qualify for an ITIN and your application is complete, you will receive a letter from the IRS assigning your tax identification number usually within seven weeks. If you have not received your ITIN or other correspondence seven weeks after applying, call the IRS toll-free number at 1-800-829-1040 to request the status of your application if you are in the United States. If you are outside the United States, call 267-941-1000 (not a toll-free number).

 

3. Will the IRS return my original documents to me? How long will it take to get them back?

The IRS has a process in place to ensure that documents are returned to applicants. The original and certified documents will be returned to applicants using the mailing address on the application via postage paid standard U.S. mail within 60 days of receipt and processing of the Form W-7.

 

4. Whom should I contact if I do not receive the documents within the allotted period?

If you do not receive your original documents within 65 days of mailing to the IRS, allowing 5 days for postal mail receipt, you may call 1-800-908-9982 (U.S. only) or for international, call 1-267-941-1000 (this is not a toll free number).

 

5. Can I get a refund after I sent my order?

If you request a cancellation on the same day of your application you will receive a full refund. Between 2 and 10 days you will receive a partial refund. No refunds will be issued after 10 days.

 

6. Required Documents

In order to prevent fraud, the IRS requires that you send original documents in order to prove that you are who you claim to be. The IRS will only accept original documents or copies certified by the issuing agency.

7. The Application Process

We simplify the W-7 application process through an intuitive questionnaire; based on your answers we then generate a pre-filled W-7 application for you to print and sign. Our questionnaire contains step by step instructions and answers for all major questions.

In addition, we also provide you with the exact address where to mail your package to with a pre paid USPS label. 

Steps in the application process:

Step 1: Answer the customized questions
Step 2: Sign your completed W-7 form.
Step 3: Insert your supporting documents and mail your packet to the IRSusing the pre paid USPS label.
Step 4: Receive your ITIN within 7 weeks.

 

8. Information Privacy

What happens to my personal information?

E-forms uses the most advanced online 256 bit encryption security available to protect your information.

Financial Information is never stored. It is captured and submitted to the payment processor gateway via SSL encrypted communication.
